Donald Clayton, William A. Fowler and W. David Arnett in summer 1968 in the garden at "White Cottage", Clayton's residence for two years (1967, 1968) at 15 Storey's Way in Cambridge. They drink Tolly-Cobbold ale, the brewer for whom the recently deceased owner of White Cottage had worked. Barbara Hoyle had located this home, with its housekeeper Kathleen Bilham, for the Clayton family's use for the beginning years of Hoyle's new Institute of Theoretical Astronomy (IOTA).
