Dieter Hartmann at the First Huntsville Gamma Burst Workshop, October 16-18, 1991, with J. Greiner from Max Planck Institut (Munich). Hartmann's PhD thesis at Santa Cruz (with Woosley) had been on gamma ray bursts, which became a feature of research at Clemson University.
