George Fuller, Donald Clayton and Brad Meyer in Sedona AZ for the conference on nuclear astrophysics at high T and low lifetime (Aug. 8-14, 1999). Fuller and Meyer are known for their joint work on neutrino physics in supernovae. Their academic lineages are interwoven by Clayton and Fuller being the first and last of PhD students of William A. Fowler at Caltech in nuclear astrophysics, whereas Meyer began his r process work with Clayton while a senior at Rice University in 1982-83. Photo by Nancy Clayton.
