Lih-Sin The and Mounib El Eid preceeding dinner at Clayton's home in Seneca SC on Sept. 3, 2000. El Eid was in the middle of his annual visit to Clemson University for research on evolution and nucleosynthesis in massive stars. See ApJ 533, 998 (2000) for their first paper on the s process in massive stars. This idea traces back to James Peters, who was a postdoc with Clayton at Rice in 1970-71.
