Ethan Deneault delivering his contributed paper "Nucleation of Large Graphite Grains in Supernovae" [with Clayton and Meyer, BAAS 33,1475 (2002)] at the January AAS meeting in Washington. That work demonstrates the observability of supernova radioactivity by a new technique, its dissociation of CO causing the growth of carbon solids in O-rich supernova gas. Such graphite grains are found in the meteorites. That paper has also been published in Astrophys. J 562, 482 (2001).
